TRIPS FOR KIDS VIDEO & PICS

Welcome to Trips for Kids Charlotte… Helping kids from Charlotte's fragile neighborhoods change their lives.

Join Trips for Kids Charlotte for the First Annual Trips for Kids Recyclery Ride!  This supported ride is designed for intermediate to upper levels of cycling enthusiasts.  Whether you are a weekend warrior, eager beginner or experienced distance challenger you are invited to join with us in support of our Earn-a-Bike and Trips for Kids Bike Ride program.  Each rider is free to set their own pace, and select the distance they can complete.  In this first annual event we hope to establish a benchmark ride for the Charlotte area and an annual contributor to Trips for Kids Charlotte.  All proceeds will benefit Trips for Kids Charlotte and their Earn-a-bike and Bike Ride programs.

We serve kids who might otherwise not have these opportunities:

  • Bike Ride Program. We take kids on rides outside of their communities and environments to have fun and provide experiences that promote personal achievement and self-empowerment.
  • Community Service/Education Program. Kids who benefit from our Ride Program participate in our Community Service/Education programs, which provide lessons in “personal responsibility” and “giving back.”
  • Volunteer Program. We provide opportunities for you to reach kids and make a difference in their lives.
