Trips For Kids Charlotte and the Charlotte Re-Cyclery are hiring!!!!

Trips For Kids Charlotte's (TFKC) is a nonprofit 501c3.  Our mission is to transform lives, communities and landscapes through cycling.  We believe the bicycle is a tool for physical, mental and social change.

Since 1999, TFKC has provided transformative cycling experiences and programs through its Ride Program, Earn-A-Bike programs and mechanical training programs. In 2006, TFKC established the Charlotte Re-Cyclery, a community bike shop program.

The Charlotte Re-Cyclery is a community bike shop and community resource for bicycle mechanical education and accessible options for used and refurbished bicycle parts, accessories and bicycles to support physical activity, transportation and recreational activities on two wheels!

Established as a program in 2006, the Charlotte Re-Cyclery is part of the circular economy reclaiming unwanted, discarded and donated bikes and transforming them into opportunities for mechanical education, transformative cycling experiences and refurbished bicycles to support the community.  Each year TFKC diverts 3500+ bikes into bikes to be refurbished, or broken down into reusable parts and recyclable materials.
