Calling all the girls, gays, and theys! Hate the vibe of walking into a traditional brotastic bike shop? Feeling a lil judged, a lil overlooked? Avoid all that unnecessary emotional labor, hang with fellow Queers and learn about your bike in a safe, supportive environment!

About the event
At the Re-Cyclery, we understand that getting into the cycling world can feel intimidating, exclusionary, and unapproachable for many. As an organization we are all about removing barriers to the cycling world. Starting April 14th, every other Monday we'll open the shop from 5pm-8pm solely for the girls, gays and theys! This is an open house, with no set agenda! This means, you are welcome to come use any part of the shop that you need. Bring in your bike and use one of the community bike stands while our fellow queer staff and trusted volunteers help trouble shoot, answer questions, and generally goof around! Or just come volunteer and rack up hours to turn into bikes and bike parts. Or just come sit with us in a space that will let you be exactly who you are, no pressures, no expectations.
