Give Time

Volunteer night

Volunteer Night at The Re-Cyclery is every Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and no mechanical experience is required to help out. Volunteers can assist by breaking down bikes, sorting parts for recycling or reuse, cleaning the shop, and organizing the space. Those with the necessary experience and approval can also build bikes. It's a great opportunity to connect with others in the cycling community while contributing to the shop's mission.

Give Your Time

Volunteering in the shop is a great way to connect to others in the community and learn about cycling while contributing to the well being and longevity of the shop!

There are many ways our community shows up for us. Not sure where to start? Let us know what your interest is below!

bike break down

The monthly Bike Breakdown event at the Innovation Barn is a hands-on opportunity for newcomers to the bike shop to learn how to properly disassemble bikes. It's perfect for those who haven't volunteered in the shop yet and want some extra guidance in assessing parts for usability and recycling. Volunteers will receive guidance from our shop staff and experienced volunteers in a supportive environment, helping them gain confidence in bike mechanics and develop new skills.
