Visit the Charlotte Re-Cyclery to buy a new-to-you bicycle that’s been restored by our trained mechanics, and all proceeds support Trips for Kids Charlotte. These fully refurbished bikes cost a fraction of what they would be new.

Donate Bikes

If you’re looking to donate your “dusty, not rusty” bikes, you can drop them off at the Charlotte Re-Cyclery, as well as REI locations at Carolina Place and Northlake malls and many other bike shops. Click here for a drop off location near you.

If you and your neighbors or friends have rounded up six or more used bikes, our TFKC truck will pick up your donations. Donations are tax deductible as a charitable item. Download donation receipt.

This benefits the health and environment of our community, as repairing bikes keeps them out of the landfill and extends their use for

exercise and enjoyment.

Maintaining your Bike

Having a well maintained bike improves your riding experience and prolongs the life of you bike.
