TAKE A KID MOUNTAIN BIKING DAY 2025: Colonel Francis Beatty Park, Saturday, October 4th from 10am - 2pm
Trips for Kids Charlotte's mission is to transform lives, communities and landscapes through cycling. In partnership with the Town of Matthews, Cycles for Success, and Tarheel Trailblazers, we are excited to offer this family-friendly ride event in celebration of the nationally recognized, “Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day”!
Join us on Saturday, October 4th at Colonel Francis Beatty Park (4330 Weddington Rd, Matthews, NC 28105) from 10 am to 2 pm for Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day (TAKMBD)....a FREE community celebration featuring guided mountain bike trail rides, bike games + skills clinics, food, music, raffles, and MORE!
Guided MTB rides are open to youth ages 9-16 (parents, you can join, too!) and will take place at 10:30 am and 1 pm. A little Bike Rodeo is open for youth under 8.…
