Since 2000, Trips For Kids Charlotte has provided transformative cycling experiences for underserved youth.  We operate through three main programs our Earn-A-Bike Program, Ride Program and our Community Bike Shop, the Charlotte Re-Cyclery.

Youth complete a course on safety, bicycle operation and hands-on maintenance.  At the end of the program youth take home a bike, lock, set of light, a helmet and the knowledge to ride with confidence.
